Please join us in congratulating the amazing team at Alverta B. Gray Schultz Middle School for hosting a vibrant and impactful Family Fun Day on Friday, June 7th!
Despite unpredictable weather, the event was a huge success—welcoming incoming students and their families to an afternoon filled with fun, resources, and community spirit. From informational booths to hands-on activities, the day was designed to build strong bridges between home, school, and the wider Hempstead community.
We were proud to see so many community partners and friends show up in support. Their presence and commitment to our youth demonstrate the power of collaboration in helping young people feel seen, supported, and prepared.
💬 As one guest noted, “It felt like a celebration of what makes Hempstead strong—our families and our unity.”
